Is this a viable upgrade to the starting pea shooter we get? Or should I save up for something with a bit more punch?

I found Burst lasers to be very effective in P Beta ,I havn't got around to trying in Beta , If you can be accurate they are better than pulse lasers although if you struggle to keep a bead on the target pulse may be better due to their RoF although damage over time wasn't that different in the P beta
