So, most likely it is already posted around here somewhere, but as I figured it out myself from testing in my Asp (and reading a tip from one of Pendra's posts), I figured I would share my resulting equation for all you fine folks to use, test, validate, wrap around a brick and chuck it through...

looking at this. Is this accurate? And how do you do the log function he lists in a Ti-83? The comma doesn't work on my Ti83. It gives err:argument.

OP's equation in the thread is not accurate for all ships and all setups (thruster grade and ship type are factors).

I can say that Corriolis.io is accurate and will serve all of your ship building needs (unless of course you want to work out the equation for yourself, in which case I have no idea how to help you).

Also, I have no idea how to use a Ti-83, you can probably find a manual or Q&A (that deals with the log function) for it online.

Yea, I was trying to figure out how to do it for a fantasy ship build for a panther clipper design. So, yea. 8)

I found something that did it for non 10 base with log()/log(), but I don't think it was correct or something.. Might not be taking everything into account. Is there a way to see the formula used in coriolis or edsy? I'm not sure if that sort of data is viewable or not on websites.
