You're a cynic, although to be honest I was more surprised by your seeming lack of empathy. So you didn't like the guy, or could not see the value in his life's work? Fine. However, on the day it was announced that he had died you'd have been better to keep it to yourself, with all due respect. That's just good manners.

There will be plenty of time to discuss the relative value of the 24 hour news mill. Monday wasn't it.

Fabulous! Maybe FD can designate the constellation - some of the stars are in the Elite firmament (some not - not sure why, I thought it was a 1:1 rendition of the galaxy, but hey, who's counting).
One of them surely waiting for Stardust Orbital.

They are naming a lightning bolt shaped constellation in honour of Bowie. The point of the bolt is formed by Delta Octantis. That would be a fitting place for any tribute.
