Got my naval ascendancy mission for Baron rank just now after the tedious grind up the ranks. Hopefully manage that over lunch, then I'll get the Clipper I've been after for over a year.
I know this be a bit 'meh' for many of you, but my personal playtime is very limited indeed (I was a KS backer and have logged a mere 1 week in the game) so it's a big deal for me.
The Clipper is kind of my 'end-game' ship for now. Small enough to dogfight, gorgeous to look at and can manage a bit of everything. It's my personal 'best' ship. My only wish is that is was called the 'Courier', but hey, you can't have everything.
I'm going to retcon my book so my heroine is flying a Clipper at the end rather than the Courier mentioned in the original text. So I can argue I'm doing 'research' for any potential upcoming sequel <cough cough>.
So the Senator will finally have a ship worthy of his egregious career. Bask in my greatness.
All the best folks, and Imperial greetings and felicitations.
Cheers,
Drew.
