please make the callsign opional the full ship ID.
Without the ship brand.
For example instead of "DelacyE47" make it "OBDE47"-->Oscar Bravo Delta Echo Four Seven"

Considering how old this feature is there is a good chance its not exactly an easy change.

Yeah maybe I am the only one who like to have that. But my ship ID is my RL callsign. So I would be nice to hear it from the stations.

No I think most people would like that. Just the older something is in code generally the harder it is to change easily no matter how well designed things are.

I made my radio amateur licence recently and requested my official callsign to match my cmdr name GOR. It is a life long bond now.
