Camera Suite focus controls ramp up too quickly

The camera suite focus controls starts of slow but ramps up way too quickly for it to be useful.

I keep meaning to increase the focus by a few metres but overshoot every time because it starts of increasing the focus by 0.01 m and then shoots up to 1.00 m.

It's difficult to increase the focus distance within the range of 5m.

It would be nice if there was a way to control the acceleration of this or just increase the time it takes for the camera focus button to ramp up in velocity.

 

[Loophole]

This is driving me crazy as well. Trying to set the focus depth to 30m, while 30m away from the ship - gave up after 4 minutes of overshooting. Will have to investigate if there are any analogue binding options for that control, because the keyboard bindings are just frustrating!

This infuriates me too.

Trying to get a good shot, and it zips back and forth like a crazy loon.

The acceleration needs to scale better.
