Campaign length

You're unlikely to get a response on this I feel.

It's hard to say, but I'd say a fair bit shorter than JWE1's base campaign (you can speed up time, but it's also not the sole mode at launch this time around).

That's not an answer! I'm a campaign player and if it's too short I won't have much game to play xD
I wasn't expecting an answer, well aware the devs are staying far away from story and narrative stuff before release (thankyou!).

It's also kinda hard to say because people play the campaigns in different ways. Like you you can speed through it, only doing the bare minimum to progress to the next part or you can take your time and put way more effort into building the parks or whatever. Not to mention the speed controls which also mean a difference in how time consuming it's gonna be depending on which speed you play on. So it can end up being anything from a 10h speed run to a 100+h detailed park building campaign I guess.

Yea, I 5 star parks and all missions before moving on, but iirc 3 or 4 plus the main missions was all you needed. Only exception was Claire and RtJP which would take you to the next place automatically.

I would say 12-15 hours. Maybe a bit less. Depends on how much you play the game and how long it takes you. If you struggle a lot it might take you longer to complete it.

I wouldn't worry about it being too short, I doubt you will be able to get through it in one day unless you have nothing else to do and a lot of free time.

The game seems to have more depth than the first game so it should be more challenging. So it might take longer than you would think.

Then you have the Chaos Theory mode and the Challenge mode. So I am sure there will be plenty to do that doesn't involve building parks in sandbox. Everything used in sandbox will most likely have to be unlocked from playing the main campaign and the Chaos Theory mode.

BestInSlot said the campaign won't be like a regular campaign from JWE. Meaning we won't be building parks and so on too much. I think most of the park building will happen in Chaos Theory mode. He also said JWE was about 20 maybe 30 hours in length and this game will be less than that most likely.

This was also confirmed in the Dev Diary yesterday: you're building facilities to house and care for dinosaurs. If I remember correctly, it was also mentioned in the news post when pre-orders went live :)

Is this taken into account also when it comes to finances etc? Will some of the unique mechanics introduced in the campaign be available also in challenge/sandbox/chaos theory mode?

I find this very interesting. More of a building nature reserves or sanctuaries to keep the dinosaurs safe from us.. and us safe from them... Definitely looking forward to the story as a campaign preferred player <3
