Description
The engineer Ram Tah requires urgent deliveries of Unclassified relics to Felice Dock in the Meene system.​

Professor Alba Tesreau, head of Aegis, made an announcement to launch the initiative:​
Since the arrival of the Thargoid Titans, we have developed several new modules to bypass their defences. But these motherships remain a constant presence in our space, continuing to unleash never-ending swarms of Thargoid vessels.

A recent theory presented by Ram Tah has the potential to change this situation. Although details of his research remain classified for the moment, the theory is derived from the Thargoids’ inherent vulnerability to the technologies of their ancient enemy, the Guardians.

Aegis is doing everything it can to support this crucial work. We therefore request deliveries of the Unclassified relics that are created when Guardian relics are inserted into an ancient Thargoid surface site's central device. Large numbers of these objects are needed in order to rapidly refine Ram Tah’s theory and develop prototypes of a potential weapon system.

As an additional incentive, paint jobs will be offered to qualifying participants. These rewards are cumulative.​

The campaign begins on the 18th of January and will run for one week. If the final target is met earlier than planned, the campaign will end immediately.​

To earn rewards you must sign up as an active participant before delivering Unclassified Relics to Felice Dock in the Meene system.​
​
Be aware that faction-state changes and other disruptive events can negatively impact markets and station services, and could prevent the initiative from running smoothly.​

This would be the story element for which we are waiting! I have still some Unclassified relics around after an earlier drive to buy Pulse Neutralisers, but I am quite happy to manufacture a few more.

5k is a big ask given the time to collect guardian relics, door opening tharg sensor, and the faffing conversion/dont stick in the roof/paint nails and shoot scavengers whilst they get warped into grelics, and then deliver them. For what looks like peanuts. If it is story sensitive then worth the effort, not convinced success/failure will affect overall narrative any more then isolating a Titan prevents their attacking oops not any more.

The OFFICIAL time they should finish is 06:00 UTC, regardless of what time they actually finish

Wait, do I see that correctly, that Grelics pay just a fraction of regular relics even though they are like 10 times the work?

Hard to predict this kind of CG. It's likely that many participants have moved their FCs to appropriate Guardian sites and farm as much as they can there, then jump back on wednesday and drop everything off in one go. A few of them will turn some of the relics into grelics first. It will mostly depend on the individual player's patience (and time on hand). Personally, I'm afraid I'll give this one a pass, because it's a game loop I don't enjoy.
Maybe I'll put in an hour's worth or two of farming on tuesday or so, without expecting that to suffice for the top 75% (on the contrary it will lower the bar for everyone who puts in more time). We'll see.

🤔 How is it hard to predict? Already at ~50% of T1 after less than a day - could they possibly reach 100% of T1 by day 7 ... let me get back to you on that ....
