Campaign to make trailblazers less of a grind.

My way forward if really building out a system would be: Build an outpost, then build a Coriolis + refinery to produce the main metals and LOx locally, then start the big station when you have the T3 points and build it gradually.
Coriolis are a waste of build points though, for every coriolis you need to build 6 additional t1 structures. However, T3 are essentially free when you want higher tier production sites and refineries.

I also had a thought, local economy could be the automation aid we are looking for. Within the 15ly colonization range and in system, constructions will skim materials based off production numbers to be delivered by npcs, making BGS manipulation, local construction and refinery hubs actually worth it, while making the massive bridges people are building still fully manual since they are only supplied by a chain of poop stations. Its strongest within system, so having a refinery planet helps your other installations build, faster and faster as you make more and supply greater material till the system is completed and you have to move on to a new one, gaining its benefits as a remote system instead for your next colony.

It might even give purpose to lend a helping hand to neighbor systems, as a few shipments of cargo gets their refinery up which helps build your newly started constructions faster.
