Can I change the clock?

Move to Mars. You'll have an extra three-quarters of an hour per day to play the game, and an actual reason to change the in-game clock.

Instancing for PvP might be a bit of a bother for your opponent, though, with a lag time ranging from 6 to 44 minutes. So better stick to PvE.

Now I'm tempted to make a video "Final PROOF that the clock is WRONG", holding an alarm clock next to the cockpit display and filming in vertical shaky phone-o-vision.

Don't forget the final plea and begging. :p

Your going about it the wrong way. Rather than petition FD to change the in game clock, you need to convince the real World to adopt Elite time.

:D +1 each for making my morning

Wait wait wait! Can you include FINAL PROOF THE EARTH IS FLAT in this as well please.

Irrefutable evidence follows.

That's flatter than a pancake run over by a tank on a 9.3g world.

Patch notes for Beta 9 state you can change clock using game pad - up, down, up, down, left, right, left, right and then top bumper buttons simultaneously.

It does say that this doesn't work on Nintendo Switch version, but will in following patch.
