Powerplay Can I prepere any system with marked items for expansion?

If I ship marked items (e.g. marked weapons) to a system which is not on the current list of the top 10 nominated systems, does it have any influence on this system, for example for being declared for expansion in the next cycle?

I mean at the moment I can deliver marked items to this "unknown" system... but does it have any effect?

It doesn't matter if a system is on the top 10 list, preparing it has the same effect. If you prepare it enough, it may become visible in the list.

System preparation is simple done by taking the action appropriate to your chosen power, as outlined in your preparation tab on your power play screen. For example for Mahon is it ship Aliance Trade Agreements (Paperwork) from any control system to the system you want to prep.

The preparation list shows the 10 most 'preped' systems. If you do enough prep work your chosen system will go into that list. It the end of each cycle as many of these preped systems as you have CC to cover will move into the expansion phase next cycle. The rest will be lost and will not carry over into that new cycles prep list.
