Hardware & Technical Can I run ED on these specs?

Hi,

I currently play ED on XBox One but was wondering if I could play it on my laptop, maybe with lower settings? (Until I can afford a decent desktop as my son uses the XBox most of the time!)

My laptop specs are:

Dell Vostro 15-3568
Intel Core i5-7200U @2.5GHz 2.70GHz
8.00 GB RAM
Intel(R) HD Graphics 620

Thanks [noob]

It should play Elite Dangerous (vanilla) ok. I wouldn't expect it to run Horizons, at least not at anything like enjoyable quality & frame rate.

very similar to my tarvel&work laptop specs, so: yes. not in the highest settings ofc.

Thanks guys. I decided to download it last night and give it a whirl. The game runs like a dream and although not the highest settings it's still very playable.

As long as you aren't expecting top settings, on lowest of low, I've seen Elite run on what I would qualify as a toaster so yeah, (not great but even so)
