Can objects between stars be reached?

It used to be that the nebulae were drawn in exactly the wrong order (more distant ones drawn in front of the nearby ones), and it was like that for years. They finally fixed it during chapter-4 if I remember correctly. But I'm not surprised if there are some edge cases that still get it wrong. It seems like nothing ever gets fixed 100%.

Turns out the half a light year in supercruise does wonders for your paint job...

7 hours ago my Cutter departed from "Salomé's Reach" and has been cruising away from the galaxy ever since (last time I checked I covered about 1.5 LY) and I'm planing to stay on this heading for maybe 12 hours more. I travel the old fashioned way (without FC) and I can only imagine what my paint job is going to look like when I get back in the bubble

No standard ship jumps in there? Bon voyage, Commander!

Your paint job quality in the Repair function will likely have dropped to zero, and, more importantly, your ship's Integrity rating will also drop drastically, perhaps to zero as it did with my Dolphin. This does not damage the ship directly, but as I understand Integrity, it can make the ship more susceptible to damage, and for larger ships, it can cost a nice chunk of pocket change to fix in Repair.
