Hardware & Technical can some one please help with getting this T.Flight Hotas X to work in game.

iv tryed every think iv dowwn loaded the drivers but its just not working in game i have no clue iv never had a flight stick and im a bit lost.

One thing to try is to make sure that you have the correct bindings file - it should be an option for supported sticks that you see when you start the game.

If that is not it, go into Options from the main menu and map the bindings yourself. That will create a custom bindings file.

thank you that may be the problem did not even think of that as well as i installed it on steam just becoause it more stable in aus
 
You shouldn't need to download drivers for the HOTAS X, it's plug-and-play e.g. Windows should load them when you plug in the USB.

Also, check that the switch on the back of the stick is set to PC and not PS3.
 
There's a whole folder of binds for the game located here that don't show up in the menu by default:

Steam\steamapps\common\Elite Dangerous\Products\YourProductNameHere\ControlSchemes

There's a file called ThrustMasterTFlightHOTASX.binds you can grab :)

Put it here:

Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Frontier Developments\Elite Dangerous\Options\Bindings

and it will show up in the available options.
