If this game is using the current theoretically possible means of faster than light travel, then in reality we are not moving at all. Space is moving around us and our ship remains in a "stationary" position. So we would not have to worry about acceleration.
Yep, that's how Super Cruise work's.
I think that that is correct that SC works by compressing the fabric of spacetime in front and expanding it behind. Your ship is in fact stationary in a bubble of normal space. It is that bubble of normal space that is being propelled and you ship is taken a long with it. Not exactly but a good analogy would be a bit like a surfer riding a wave. In fact with in that bubble of normal space you should'nt really be experience any of the G-forces normally associated at traveling at those speeds. An object travelling through space approaching the speed of light will increase its mas effectively becoming a singularity. But space time itself is not bound by those same restrictions. So if you can warp spacetime, by compressing and expanding it who knows how fast you could propel that bubble of normal space that surrounds your ship. There is nothing as far as we know with in the laws of physics that say that this kind of space travel is impossible. Its just as of right now we not only lack the technology to do this. Unfortunately we also as of right now can't even conceive of a technology that would enable us to do this. Who can say what kinds of things we may discover in the future we have only just begone to look out at the cosmos. Everything that we have discovered and can see and observe, all that observable matter such as stars, planets, dust and gas only makes up 4%. 23% is dark matter and 73 % is dark energy. It would be very arrogant of any scientist to claim that the distances between the star systems are to vast, and that it would be impossible to acheive any kind of travel between them. We are still very much in the beginnings of discovery. Who knows what we may discover years from now.
