can we get more infos about 2.1?

Like Tinman said, the livestreams have had some 2.1 hints and foreshadowing. I stuck some summaries up on Reddit:

Well with No Man's Sky and EVE Valkyrie coming out around then, there's that to consider as well. I'm already seriously questioning whether I'll be spending $60 on S3. NMS already covers most of the items on my exploration check list that ED likely won't achieve until S4 or S5. Valkyrie has the potential to be an instant hit out the gate given the current climate in EVE with the CFC and Goonswarm under serious pressure and their battle of B-R5RB potentially being eclipsed soon.

At this point, I'm thinking of just waiting until S3 and beyond go on sale to pick up.

I'm not sure if that is how it will pan out with NMS though. NMS comes out in June, so it will be 6 months old by the time Season 3 is a thing. Either NMS will take up enough time for 6-12 months that season 3 will be put on the to-buy later list, or it will be done and dusted - good fun for a few months and then put on the shelf for later. There has been no firm commitment to ongoing development of NMS though, so what you get in June will be the finished product.

Whether season 3 has anything to tempt explorers is another issue. I doubt if space legs would be interesting to explorers without atmospheric landing.
