Are leucistic zebras like the one on the right used for Project Quagga?

The Quagga was not a seperate zebra species,but a subspecies of the Plains Zebra.This means that a part of the living Plains Zebra population shares similar genetic material like the extinct quagga.Zebras that appear more brownish or are in any way stripeless are not a must,but help with the selective breeding,which is used for the revival of the quagga.The zebras of Project Quagga currently look like this:
