Engineers Can we make engineers sellign all of the parts they engineer?

Just a small QoL thing that would make an engineering run shorter:

Make engineers sell every item they are specialized in, please. Didi Vatermann for example sells no A Shield boosters, that's kinda annoying. Yeah, I know you can get some parts on a station in the same system but at this point it's just a simple waste of time that makes you do additional runs if you want to engineer several modules of the same size and store them.

Yes, it's stupid and pointless for an engineer to not sell at least the A grade of the stuff he mods. In fact he/she should sell all the grades and sizes for what he mods. Good point.

the suggestion is ridiculous. If they sell the parts and then they buy them back, why dont just buy the upgrade straight away?
oh, I misunderstood the thing to selling the materials/data and not the modules, my bad!

I agree, I think that is a solid suggestion, but let them sell those parts with a 10 or 20% markup.
This would give players something to think about: Do I want to pay more for the convenience?

I'd be fine with that suggestion. Though an extra 20% on some 8A Prismatic shields would sting a bit :)

It would and it should, but if you feel it stings too much, then you have the choice to buy them elsewhere. That is what it is about. It should offer you a choice and something to consider.

Great idea, but how can we ask FD for it? Just hope that someone from them will browse the forum? Not to mention that the title is a bit confusing. They need to understand that we are talking about standard, unmodified modules.

Create a proper feature request (I'll support it), get people to answer and hope they see it, maybe if you ask nicely..

Should be able to order the parts on Amazon and have them delivered to the engineer prior to your arrival. HAHAHA
