Can we sell dinosaurs?

I wager we can't, since it goes against a huge theme of the Jurassic Park franchise.
I thought somewhere they said you could?
You can sell dinosaurs. If you watched any of the gameplay videos where people had to move a dino, you could see that the transportation team were able to move a dino, sell dinosaurs, and remove corpses.
I knew it was from somewhere. I think BIS talked about it.
You will not get the value for what you paid though.
Obviously. This is how it always works in games. You don't get the same value for a weapon in an RPG either.
But selling dinosaurs is a major part of the Jurassic World franchise. JW1, sell trained raptors. JW2, auctioning captured dinosaurs.
Right, it is a major part, for the antagonists.
A huge theme of the Jurassic Park franchise has been conservation, that dinosaurs are animals and do have rights. They are a part of nature, which cannot be contained.
From Jurassic Park to Fallen Kingdom there has been a clear message when it comes to viewing dinosaurs as a property: don't.
That's not to say I'm against this. I don't like the idea, but if it's in the game, it's in the game. It just goes against one of the huge overarching themes of the entire franchise.

In JPOG you had an option to retire a Dinosaur. Which means kill it in some way. This game obviously does not allow it cause 15 years later the world is a lot more soft and can't handle killing already extinct animals in a video game. So don't think of it as selling a Dinosaur. It's just a way of getting rid of a Dinosaur and you no longer want and you can get some money back. In JPOG if you killed them you didn't get any money of course. So even though it clashes with the themes of the first few films it's a better alternative then just killing an expensive Dinosaur.
Cause I think this game will be like MGS 5 in the way you unlock things. In MGS 5 if you want to get higher ranks in missions you need better equipment and the only way to do that is to unlock it and research it. So if we want to get a 3 or 5 star rating on all of our parks we will need better attractions and so on. So that means we will be replacing a lot of older unpopular attractions with newer ones. I don't mean just Dinosaurs either, this will be done for everything when we unlock a better version of it.

If you have an ACU centre, you can sell the dinosaurs. You won't be getting the same amount back that it cost to incubate, but it could be an interesting way to manage your dinosaur population and welfare.
As for age, the dinosaurs do have an age counter, and if nothing happens during their lifespan, they will die of old age after a suitable amount of time.

I just hope the dinosaurs will be able to breed as in the movies as Ian Malcolm quoted life finds a way and in the lost world you had the baby stego and baby rex so to stay true to the franchise surly the dinosaurs should be able to breed.
