Horizons Can you be attacked in FSS mode?

Still choosing my HOTAS bindings. I'd like to know if my ship can be attacked while I'm in FSS mode. Do I have to setup a mode switch to combat that can be instantly activated?

Combat mode is for hardpoints only. When you FSS you are sitting ducks in SC. Everyone can attack you. My advice: park with your facing star, enyone who will try to Interdict you will have to crash into a star first .

Note: swear filter may strip important parts of sentences. Swear responsibly and face away from the star so your rear faces it. (edit) Moon the star?

It's really not that big a deal. Bind a key to exit FSS and as soon as you hear the interdiction exit FSS and throttle up. You'll be a half-second behind in the interdiction game, but should be able to catch up if it's an NPC. If it's a Cmdr, well, you're goingbto submit and hi wake anyways so it makes no difference.

So you can confirm that you can hear an interdiction whilst FSS'ing?

I got interdicted last night while in FSS. I was automatically moved from FSS to HUD. But I did not know the interdiction was coming until it happened.

Yes. I reacted quick enough to fight and beat a couple and just submitted to a few others - NPC's, no cargo, they scanned me and left.
