Can you buy P-MK2 for credits after you have ARX purchased?

I’ve seen posts where people seem to have multiple hulls but can’t come up with how. Everywhere I go that says it has them doesn’t have them.

Afaik you're able to buy the MK II for credits after purchasing it with ARX first. You get one "prebuild" ship to your hands and the option to buy as much as you want for credits...
But only if the MK II is available at the shipyard you're looking at... ;-/

Edit: P.S.: iIrc you get two prebuild ships with the Stallar package, one A-rated and one E-rated... :unsure:

P.P.S.: oh... didn't test it myself, because as a LEPer I personally refuse to pay ARX for early access to ships...

I'm pretty sure that you only get one zero rebuy A rated Python mk2 with the Stellar package, if you want more you have to buy more ships for credits. Not sure if they are available from many shipyards, but at least Jameson Memorial does sell it.

I guess I could try the hive of scum and villainy at Jameson. LOL. So far every place INARA points to having it that I have tried doesn't have it.

Inara is just showing where commanders have picked up their Arx-purchased MK2's. It's available at any shipyard after purchase with Arx, so Inara's results are all over the place. They are not for sale via credits to anyone until Aug 7, even if purchased with Arx first. Each commander gets one at a time of what they paid Arx for, no more. It's the same for all pre-built ships.

Yep, I was incorrect on all counts. Thanks to Jack Winter for setting me straight, and sorry to everyone for the misinformation.

I didn't go all the way to Jameson. Instead, I checked the nearest station's shipyard. I also switched to my DBX, just in case showing up with a MK2 would interfere. The Python MK2 shows on the list at the bottom for about 67.5 M. It's not in stock, but that still proves I can buy more. Jameson sells everything, so they will definitely have this.

I also went to the same station with my second commander. The MK2 wasn't visible on the list, since he doesn't have one (yet).

Ahhhhh.... I didn't know that was just scraped data. Thanks, that makes sense now.

That's not true! I have several P2s bought for credits, all of them purchased at Jameson Memorial..

Heh, to avoid confusion. The buy for credits P2 at Jameson are only available to those that bought the prerelease P2, but they can buy as many as they want for credits.

I'm keeping my P2 zero rebuy ship as an insurance in case it'd be convenient to spawn a new ship somewhere/sometime.

I bought one each for two of my commanders. One commander is several KLy from the bubble. I'll get the other out of hibernation and hit Jameson after work.
