So I have been on the community subreddit. Everybody is complaining about Rex‘s jaw and the neck. To fix the jaw, make the tip of the lower jaw more rounded and less square like the Jurassic world Rex. Use the animatronic Jp Rex for reference. To fix the neck, just make it more chunkier around the neck. Other than that it looks fine

I completely agree 100%. After countless people have compared the current model to the model seen in the trailers, there are conflicting opinions and honestly I am still on the fence about what exactly has been changed as all released trailers are from the same angle of Rexy roaring. Some screenshots suggest no model change e.g. new dlc species profile, whilst others suggest massive improvements e.g the ‘thicc rex’ subreddit thread screenshot. I have all fingers crossed that the model will be tweaked like the raptors to include: rounder chin, narrower/less bulbous snout, more pronounced nose/brow ridge, deeper eyes, bulk all around, particularly the neck, body and legs. It seems trivial, but all of these characteristics contribute towards connecting with nostalgia and differentiating our 93 Rexy from all other generic T-Rex. For instance, the model used in the species profile does not look like the model in the initial trailer:

I really don’t get the argument at all because from what I can tell, all texted from all the films (excluding the baby from the second movie) and the game itself are identical by model shape. From what I can easily tell, it’s really all just your average classic photo shot angle scenarios. I had a similar kind of vibe when I saw the first stego reveal picture from the DLC, regarding the shape of the body, until I saw more of the dinosaur from the DLC’s species profile video.
