Can you store rare goods in A fleet carrier?

You can't store anything that has the mission icon I have come to find out. So say you have a faction that wants cobalt, the game will mark any vendor that has that with a symbol and if you buy the item with that symbol it cannot be stored on your FC. However a workaround to this would be to check out what kinds of items a system has in demand for missions and stock up on them beforehand on your fleet carrier as you will still be able to use those items because they do not have the marker. I tested this a bunch today. Also found out you cannot transfer Powerplay items, nor items that you are told to deliver to other systems. One nice thing though is that you can make bank with trade loops if you find a good one.

Lovely.
Good work, devs.
You can use FC to make billions with LTD trading, but prevent Cmdrs to put a "special" item on 5 bn moving station.
So much for variety of use (n)

Yes OP if you are the owner of the carrier, you can. See the [Transfer] button in the inventory tab.

Unfortunately, you cannot trade even small amounts of rares in the carrier's market.
I learned this the hard way trying to help along my alt account with unlocking the engineers and bought some Soontill relics - you can stock as many as you want (I bought 600:)) but you can't sell them to other CMDRs. Same for Meta Alloys. Kinda get why I suppose.

Still, there's some money to be made with high volume rares trading - made about 12m credits selling those relics after jumping the carrier a few hundred LYs. Not the highest earner, but every little helps.
