Cannot push continue

so, i recently got back into elite dangerous,
Nothing in my specs on my pc have changed since i played last yr.
i go get myself a fresh download of elite dangerous since i removed it for space a while ago, and i find i cannot push any buttons in the main menu page
I launch just fine, and then it does the usual wheel while it checks graphics and all that, then, im greeted to the oh so fun new menu page, a station on fire, and my python sitting there, i can highlight all the buttons there, but i cannot push them, i randomly get in , like, twice ive been able to play in 4 days, and its just from me constantly restarting the failed game, and randomly, it will let me push continue, but if i log out, i cannot log back in without literal hours of me quitting and restarting the game.
i got my game direct from frontier so im not using steam
yes, all overlays are off, no steam, no nvida, nothing running in the background or my tray
i have tried a clean reinstall 4 times now, and still the problem persists, my mouse is working just fine, even hitting E or space on my keyboard wont get me in
imma about to loose my mind, and go buy No Mas Sky at this point
All my drivers work fine, the internet is stable and wired
Please god someone help me, i made a ticket, and, it just happened to be upon getting a response, my game let me in and i was like Ohhh ha, its fine now, thanks though,, ive made a second ticket, awaiting response,
hoping you smart people can do some braining for me
System information keep in mind, i do have 2TB additional memory for this girl installed
Elite dangerous has never been an issue to run for me before this

this is probably caused by a clash of old and new bind files that are hidden
follow the binding renaming procedure in the lost binds guide sticky stuck at the top of this pc sub forum ensuring you only have the one renamed bind file in that folder as it suggests
see if that resolves the issue after deleting any other remaining .bind files (note that the file version is 4.0.binds now but the renaming method remains the same)
N.B ensure the game is shutdown when handling files and make a backup of the binding folder to desktop before carrying out the above

the above method should keep your old controls setup intact the one below will mean you need to re setup all the controls from scratch as if you just purchased the game
your cmdr data will not be affected either way............

alternatively back up the current binding folder to desktop then delete it from the location in the specified frontier directory in the guide which will force the game once restarted to create a new default control set and bindings folder
just in case your old binding folder content has been corupted somehow....... (ie the one that now resides on your desktop)
hopefully that will get you back on track, happy button pushing trails;)

Main menu - Options - Controls - General - "UI SELECT" / "UI NAVIGATE"

Default keys are space(select), WASDQE(navigate), 1234(panels), enter(chat/confirm), backspace(UI back), escape(exit).

So, i tried last night again to reinstal, this time i was met with an error code when doing a clean reinstal of the launcher, i checked and its either the CC files or the Netframe, so, i tried to repair, this failed, finally i just did a complete reinstall of windows, restore to factory settings and reinstall everything, update everything, and again, downloaded the launcher, this time, no error, so now im re installing elite dangerous, and i very much hope that it will work and this effort and time pays off
I really dont want to cheat on elite Dangerous with No Mans Sky, i was flying since i was 4 months old, im the same age as elite dangerous, so it has a special place in my heart, and my mother used to fly with me on her chest

ok, so, it took completely reinstalling windows and the net frame software, somewhere down the line in my pc, the CC and net frame files became corrupted, it took almost 24 hours to do a complete rip out and reinstall and update everything, i am back in the game normally

good time to create a system restore point..........
(and set the disk capacity to max to prevent them being overwritten too frequently bearing in mind after major windows updates they will no longer work anyways)
