Can't engineer shield boosters

I'm at didi vatermann.
I could do upgrade to one shield booster and now get "server error" when trying to buy experimental effects or better mods for any of my boosters.

I can't seem to do any engineering of modules either. I wanted to refit a ship for base bombardment but that will have to wait I guess.

Engineering was working fine in EDH earlier today FWIW

Can I just login to horizons, do the engineering and login back to odyssey? Gotta try it.

Good point I hadn't thought of switching. I'll do that for now

Ok I think it's because they were legacy mods from way back!
Horizons says (legacy mod) next to the module name.
EDIT: Yes that worked. Converted the modifications in Horizons from legacy to current format and after that they could be upgraded in Odyssey.
