spent one whole day looking. nothing higher than 3a which i have. i have used eddu, roguey. they say they are there but not. went to i sola prospect. di about 30 jumps and went to every station port ect that had outfitting. help

Newcomer / Intro cant find a 4a power plant for cobra mark 3

Inara outfitting shows plenty of them available.

i sola prospect is one port - not sure why you 'went to every station'. Pic of what you see in i sola pls. Given it has stocks of every module - all the time.
Edit: Or else you're accidentally in a smaller ship - you are in a cobra?

thanks, definately a cobra. will get back to i sola. maybe i am clicking wrong somewher. i go into outfitting, core internals , power plant, scroll down and nothing higher than the 3a, which i have. also cannot find the larger fuel tank. will go thru your comments next time i get back on. would i be correct to assume that it will not show items that would not fit into my ship? would it be possible that i have someting in the ship that would not make the 4a available, enough room? thanks again
Larger fuel tank?
The stock Cobra comes with a 16t tank and you can't get bigger than that. The only reason you'd have a smaller one is because you've sold it previously and I'm not sure why you'd do that for this ship.
Just note that not everything is sold everywhere, you may simply be in an area where that reactor isn't sold.
Well, apart from the fact the guy said he was at one of the places that guarantees to sell everything ...
i think i can explain the fuel tank and maybe all this will make sense. i probally got the smaller 2c tank to compensate for the hardpoints and just wanted to fire the guns. had the smaller power plant at the time, found the 3a later.
yes i was definately at i sola . scrolled down and the last power plant that was available was the 3a it lit red and said currently installed and could not scroll down any further

Which suggests that the OP is indeed not in a Cobra.
Ok, but for future reference, a fuel tank has no power draw, so you can keep it full size.
Also- a size 2 in a Cobra?! That's less than 2 jumps. Are you sure you're not in an Adder?

i apoligize to all for wasting your time. i saw the mark 3 and bought it. it was the viper, sold it at i sola and got the viper. thanks to the guy who got it right.
