Can't find animals to complete campaign objective

I am on the second campaign level, the Madagascan conservation project, and to get the last objective I need 12 different species, however I selected every animal I don't have in animal trading, and the market is empty. How do I complete this objective?

I think I remember that you can also put the exhibits in rather than habitats to get the species level up, so something like snakes, spiders etc. There should be some spare slots around the map you can add them or just chuck them in anywhere to move on.

When I was playing this one, the habitat market was very finicky and very limited. The only two "new" animals I could find were tapirs and chimps. As Gary said, exhibit animals do indeed also count for that objective.
