Cant find Tellurium

I have ben looking for Tellurium the past couple of days, and have been having absolutely no luck at all. I'm hoping someone can help me. I have asked in Discord a few times, but no one seems to know.

I Google searched and went down the list and tried every suggested location I found. None of them have panned out so far.

HIP 36601, C3B, Biological Site 4, Horizons Client only.

Those are a lot of the places I looked. It's pretty frustrating that I am going to have to go back over all of them in the other client. Is there really no where to get them in Odyssey yet?

Don't mean to shoot the messenger. I do appreciate your help. I was tearing my hair out.

I mean, if you go to HIP 36601, C3B, Biological Site 4, Horizons Client only, you will find a crystalline shard forest that has nothing but Tellurium in it... You can get 150 in like 25 seconds

If you have Horizons:

Another super easy way is to go to Koli Disci 6A ( might be spelled Koli Discii, can't remember). Its the planet with Gerlache Base. Unfortunately, it's a 390,000ls supercruise ride but you can do other stuff whilst waiting. It's about 12 minutes maybe?

It's in the Bubble. It's a crashed Anaconda site that has three cargo racks of tellurium, ruthenium, tungsten, zirconium or antimony. Just relog into and out of menu to reset.

I like it because the terrain is relatively flat for the srv. Also you do not have to deal with latitude and longitude. Around 1000ls or closer from 6a, your nav panel should read "crashed ship site" or something like that.

“Horizons client only”… I keep reading this everywhere I search for information on how to collect Tellurium. Is this material not available when using the Odyssey client?

Out of date information - that is the problem with necroing an old thread.

@Slange Lands has it right - works fine in Live - in fact Orrere is better in Live (flatter ground) whereas The Bug Killer is broken in Live but great in Legacy.

As I pointed out to you elsewhere Live and Legacy are completely different from each other now.

But I didn’t mention Legacy. By "Horizons", I meant the Horizons mode of Odyssey. In that mode, I was able to find the Needle Crystals within a couple of minutes, and the Tellurium I harvested was still there when I switched back to Odyssey mode. Previously in Odyssey mode, I'd been searching for nearly an hour without finding any Needle Crystals.

I have actually never once launched "Legacy" mode on PC, as I only started playing the PC version late last year.

im lazy and havent done the chapters yet but go to the description and look for the google doc. Everything in that document is pretty much out of date except the planets and the systems in the orange section. watch the video to find out how to engineer. it goes over what button to click, what build to use, what website to use, it gives a link to show you how to scan the planets and locate the crystals.
