I can close the Steam launcher yes. I select Elite Dangerous, I get the popup option to play in pancake or VR, then the Frontier launcher appears and I can close the Steam launcher.Just noticed this.
So the Frontier Launcher does pop up? I thought I remembered seeing that.
Then surely Oculus users don't need to rely on Steam VR? But can open Oculus Home and set it to allow 3rd party apps or whatever the setting is which should get Oculus Runtime to kick in?
Can you turn off steam once the launcher is open?
