People, validating the integrity of the files from steam solved it for me:
right click on elite dangerous / properties / local files / verify file integrity
then restart steam

Same here. I tried the "Purchase" to see if I could find out any more and my computer security system went ballistic warning me of threat to my computer and personal information. Never got that before and I don't' think it's FDev. Now I get the message I can log on but the SERVER STATUS still reads "issues detected"; is it safe to log on?

The issues detected thing is the game entity wanting us to be able to have our funds wired 2020 style rather than having to
go to the bank /station as in 1965 p

I have the "Issues detected" message on the launcher.

But I'm in the game grinding away (which means alot of back and forth from the Main Menu to the game). No issues so far. I'm in PA, USA though.

I'm SURE with issues detected nothing can go wrong constantly logging on and off. And it doesn't strain the servers either...

Ok, I was able to play mining without any seeming problems other than the fragments getting stuck on the rocks and killing my limpets.

I am able to log in and play but now the game is under the impression that I don't own Horizons. Can't do certain things. Ugh
