Can't select anything in system map?

Ok, so is anyone else having an issue with selecting things in the system map? I hover the cursor over a planet and nothing. No information is display as if it's not being selected.

This is a known issue which we have yet to manage to find a consistent repro for. If you could file a bug with as much information as possible, it will help us to track down the cause.

Not sure if it is related, but I play at 3840x1080 and I find that the system map doesn't scale correctly. i.e. I move my mouse cursor over the planet, the UI element that pops up comes up from a point that is about half way between the centre of the screen and where it should be.

I zoom out and the quickly stab the select button whilst moving from item to item on the map. That always fixes it for me.

I often have to turn te game completely off or the entire console, but it fixes itself everytime I do so.

Not too much of a problem, if annoying.

I've got this - I'm out exploring 3K from Sag A*. I haven't done a single thing different to cause it. Just jump, scan main star, move closer, open map. Same routine at every stop.
I was trying everything I could think of to bring it out of the state and in doing so I notice my right stick does nothing in debug camera mode. Not in standard or alternate control.
Maybe the two are related, I don't know.

This debug bug is related to free look in the cockpit, if you click the thumbstick to free look, then go to debug, the camera doesn't move with the right stick indeed, if you go back to the cockpit you will notice your head is moved all the way to the left or right. if you click the thumbstick so you use your thrusters instead of free look, it seems, for me atleast, that i never have this issue in Debug.

You cannot select anything in the galaxy map if st to toe vertical arrows. Swap back to horizontal and it might work. That's the only thing I can come up with.

Ignor me sorry, you said system map I thought Galexy map. My bad.

For me it's the UI select. It simply doesn't work in the galaxy map. UI select (x button) works fine with any panels in the cockpit. In the galaxy map I can change tabs & navigate any menu, I just cannot select anything in any menu ie. the X button does not work in the galaxy map. I cannot even change from economical routing to fastest. I have noticed one thing. In the 3000 hours, I have played the PC (steam) version if one doesn't zoom in close enough in the galaxy map, then you cannot select anything. I cannot zoom in as close on the PS4 as I can on the PC. So, I wonder, is that the issue?
