Cant start the game without VR

I know this probably has a very simple resolution and has probably been asked about before but I cant seem to find a thread.
I have been trying to Configure a new Joystick and would rather do this outside VR but every time I start the game it starts in VR mode can anyone help me out ?.

Use ED profiler. Detect your current settings, save as VR preset, create a non VR preset and then switch between them as you please. It's a great little tool.

Can also get into the game, and go to the options, and in graphics set 3D > Off

Once you are done setting things up, then 3D > HMD (headphone) or (speakers)

Just unplug your HMD for the setup session.
