Can't turn left

My ship has been spinning clockwise for so long, that when I did login - it won't turn left anymore. Docking is really difficult, if you miss the centre spot you have to wait for it to turn through 360 before you get another chance :D

Just keep turning right, it'll just take you a bit longer

Ha, I actually had a case-study of a patient who refused to turn right in traffic, in real life. Changing lanes was fine, a solid turn was not. So if that person needed to go right, they'd find a way to make three lefts...

I recall this is a known hack which can be employed to prevent a player's ship from steering correctly. [where is it]

My main concern is DW2 - I'll have to head to the right and they'll all go slightly left. Using Sleutelbos's logic, I'll end up meeting them when they've arrived - doh!

Therapy? Solid smacks to the head? Stuck "d" key / yaw axis on keyboard / stick?

Cmdr Zoolander?

I hate you! That was my gag

Flip the ship upside down.

Agree genius solution - I was going to buy replacement thrusters, but being from West Yorkshire I don't want to spend any money unless absolutely necessary. Flipping the ship to go left is fine - thanks... :)

That's a shame ,I hope he was all right in the end....

Had a pilot with this problem once. Turned out a light bulb had fallen down into the groove where the control stick was at blocking any left pull on the stick.

Flipping the ship would definitely work for him - the light bulb would fall back out. It certainly is a pure genius solution - rep has been given :)

On the bright side: In traffic you actually arrive faster if you only do right turns. UPS does it. Assuming right-hand traffic of course. ;)
