Can't unlock an engineer because of a bug?

Hi CMDR's!

I have a serious problem with the game, which is as the title says I can't unlock Broo Tarquin. I can't buy the necessary items (50 fujin tea) for him because in the Futen Spaceport, the market is completely empty.

Does anybody have any information about this or can somebody help me in this problem?

thats not a bug, Fujin system currently is in Infrastructure Failure status, which means commodities market is closed for buy option. you can only Sell items, which will help leaving from Infrastructure Failure status. seems that we have to wait few days until status change to something better

Took me a full day waiting at the port for some spawn to discover this thread...how can a casual player even know this? Should they not give a alert/message on the market with this info?

Especially when you see the difference between what you get from unlocking Mel Brandon for lasers. You could have a pretty decent combat ship just from unlocking him what with all the other stuff.

Just bear in mind if you make the trip, his unlock can use any bounty. You don't have to waste time looking specifically for ships from the Nameless faction. I brought mine from the bubble.

I've just discovered this too!

I'm trying to u lock broo but now can't so I've been buying water purifiers and selling them at fujin. Only making about 700,000cr a trip but fujin seems to want them.

Maybe this needs to be an unofficial community goal? To fix this infrastructure failure?

The bgs servers are shared between pc, ps4 a d xbox right?

Any other way to speed up getting fujin out of infrastructure failure? There's mining missions but they're a balance for time and my mining conda is 5mcr away.

There's a lot oh hge uss out here so filled up on g5 mats, so it's not all bad news.

I used to disagree with this as a mechanic.

Not anymore. It's a breeze compared to getting all the skill points in my new main game, ESO.

There you will have to push back two entire player armies to get them all. You are not going to do that solo!

Which reminds me. While I do have some engineering to do, I also had a pet dream to fill up all my slots of data and mats just for fun (yeah right!) but its been a while so what's the info on material farming these days - where are the goto solutions for material farming - surely someone must've done a spreadsheet over on the PC master race... Anyone have a useful link???

for raws 3x trips to the crystalline fields will totally fill you up if you swap all your g4 raws down At a mat trader before you start. There is a guide somewhere....

Just lock yer G5 weapons on the station, send a message saying "give me tea or I take out your rotation stabilizing thrusters" 😂🤪😜😂
