Can't use a controller AND a HOTAS?

you must have a diffrent version of windows where advanced power managment disabled
in control panel devices and printers does the device show up there?
and can you enter and use the test functions therin (right clik then properties)

Yeah I'm using Win11 Home. I looked in Settings and the control panel. No sign of any power information, or a generic USB hub (or any USB hub).

I don't know if moving the Xbox controller from the same USB bus as the throttle (replacing it with the stick) has fixed the ghosting but I've set buttons on the throttle that aren't immediate (like system map, landing gear etc) to be hold instead of tap - which I actually find to be better anyway. If ghosting is still happening, I think it should only be noticeable on something like flight assist toggle, which happened a few times. We'll see. Fortunately I've never had boost ghost on me yet heh.

Sweet, a nicely timed marathon session without a single incident of ghosting - and no need to set any buttons as Hold that I'd rather leave as Tap. I also realised leaving my phone right next to the throttle wasn't the best idea. Now I put it a few inches away from it.

ghost inputs will probably be cured with a mains powered usb hub or card (its the no1 cause)
as it sounds like your mb has low output capacity powered usb ports either that or psu 5v rail is not performing well
Anyone using a powered USB hub with the X56 must plug it into a USB 2.0 slot in the PC especially if the powered USB unit is v3.0. There was a member posted why a 2-3 years ago who explained the reason. I have a powered external 4-port usb 3.0 hub where my X56 is plugged into and had terrible ghosting problems with it until I read the members explanation and plugged it into a usb 2.0 port instead of the usb 3.0 port in my pc I had used until then. Never had one single instance of ghosting since and that was like I say two or three years ago. Maybe some remembers the explanation and can post a link.
