My wish-list for my next custom desktop PC will have
- i9-9900k 5.0Ghz stock CPU (8 cores, 16 threads) CPU which has a very high single core clock speed.
- EVGA GTX 2080 Ti (11GB GDDR6X, not just 4/6/8GB GDDR5 vRAM)
- Samsung 2TB M.2 SSD
- 32GB DDR4 RAM
.... Overkill yes, Expensive.... it's in-ev-i-tab-le... would cost around NZ$5,500. Whole new case, motherboard, everything. But this won't happen until early 2021.
Currently I have my 1st custom desktop PC:
- EVGA GTX 1070SC (8GB GDDR5 @ 1888Mhz)
- Intel Core i7-6700k 4.2Ghz
- 16GB DDR4
The system requirements for Planet Zoo are higher than the system requirements for Planet Coaster 0.o
Will be upgrading my 4 year old HP laptop to the Surface Pro 7 when it comes out next week, with a 10th gen Intel Core i7 CPU with Intel Iris G7 Graphics! Which is better than just Intel UHD Graphics it's the Iris series. So you get more execution units than just e.g Intel 620 graphics, which my current laptop has (i5-6200U). It's also ultra portable and will be the 16GB DDR4X RAM version with 256GB SSD option.
So that means if you want to play Planet Zoo on recommended settings, you'll need a high end gaming PC, not just your average laptop people use for school/uni. Still looking forward to Planet Zoo. Enjoyed the Beta can play it in 4k settings but when we get carried away by building big parks, like Planet Coaster, that's when it starts to lag.
Thankfully some of the buildings come pre-made, like the main entrance brick building in the beta?, and also the staff buildings which don't seem to be piece by piece THANK YOU and some of them you can see INSIDE the building and watch the peeps. Incredible.
