Punisher never gets any introduction to female audiences though - tough to, because of who he is. I think you need to appeal to both sides to make a billion don't you? One day they might hit with a casting or an introduction so the other side gets it but to be honest, with Punisher I doubt it, not if he's going to stay interesting anyway.

I don't mean to wade into this, but in Star Wars cannon, there have always been force users that are not Jedi or Sith. They are not formally trained, but can use it.

Considering all the things that the Force can do, why choose this one instance as being unbelievable?

The Force is there as a crutch to either get good characters out of bad situations, or for bad characters to show how evil they are.

Still not as bad as Yoda hopping and somersaulting around like McKayla Maroney on crack. In Leia's instance all she did was move herself thru microgravity. Luke was lifting rocks and crap on his 2nd day on dagobah

Probably not, but imo, it is the right thing to do. Our cabin is ~45min from the nearest tiny node of civilisation, mobile reception can be patchy on a clear day, and whenever we've had to head out a rescue someone caught out unprepared in a sudden storm, first priority was to get them onshore, inside and drying/warming, then think about contacting emergency services if needed.

"Scene"?

Entire movie, surely?

Theres a line between "subverting audience expectations" and just completely taking the pee out of everything that a franchise has constructed and Rian Johnson crossed that line like a Panzer heading into Poland.

Objectively, you can look at pretty-much EVERY scene in TLJ and find fault with it. Every scene has something that either takes a dump on existing lore or is just flat-out nonsense.

If you take your nostalgia glasses off all the star wars films have huge holes in them, not to mention dreadful dialogue. They are all fun films, but you need to channel your inner twelve year old to enjoy them same with super hero movies.

Lots of tough female characters in that show, it got terminated because it didn’t praise the crazy agenda polluting the biz right now, but at some point the pendulum will swing back, only question will we be around by then or will we all reach a point where the western world will be divided into two half.

The punisher got cancelled due to its surprise success so the IP owners decided they wanted it back in house.

I know its rubbish because its just the most recent of a series of desperate lies from people who've wazzed away their credibility.


Its rubbish nobody wants to see it : rotten tomatoes pull the fake pre-release reviews

Nobodies going to see it : release ticket sales numbers

The theatres are empty : check available seating

They gave secret free tickets away just to girls : conspiracies don't work when you get the public involved

Its not a financial success : release financials

It might go the same was as the expanse and keep cast members and such, especially the lead he's great. Having said that the series could have been a lot more punisheresque. He should be executing every very naughty person who crosses his path with not a hint of inner turmoil beyond will my ammo last out.
