I was just thinking about a small, simple concept for feeder / purposeful interact-able enrichment for your “smart carnivores”. The title says it all, inspired by the Indoraptor’s feeding animation sequence from Ludia’s mobile app game, Jurassic World: The Game.
When you unlock the Indoraptor, a super hybrid class dinosaur, in that game, and when you start feeding it, it will literally walk towards a lever, uses one of its clawed arms to use it, and the feeder next to it will activate to bring up the meat it will feed on!

The reason why I’m bringing this up is because I think it can add some more diversity to the existing carnivores that could utilize such a concept. The Indoraptor, Indominus rex, and indeed the Velociraptor are the most intelligent creatures in the franchise, being able to do unexpected things like open doors by using knobs in their unique ways. The Indoraptor in particular was designed to have a classic horror film kind of vibe when they made the Fallen Kingdom film, and I think that animation in the video from that game above really adds to its intended design from the movie.
Overall, I think this idea of a kind of feeder / enrichment can be wonderful for your highly intelligent predatory dinosaurs in-game, just like how the fish feeder added more diversity to some of the game’s existing carnivores at the time of its release.
As for its implementation, perhaps it can be from a big DLC exclusive feature, maybe something like my Owen Grady focused DLC concept (below), or it could be for something else entirely, DLC wise.

Or, it could be a big free update feature, similar to how the fish feeder was introduced. However, I think it’s a little too “special” to be part of a free update, so DLC is my best bet for it.

Dinosaurs - General Gameplay - *NEW* Concept of an Owen Grady themed DLC
(Many months ago, I posted a thread for an Owen Grady DLC concept. Now, because of the release of Update 1.12 and the new Return to Jurassic Park DLC, and knowing what they both had to offer, I can now confidently layout the basic concept a little better. Basically, I'm reviving an old dead...
