Carrier Heading to Colonia Saturday Morning (UTC)

CARRIER ODYSSEY F34-Q9B - LOCATION MITNAHAS (Close to Diaguandri)

Departing for Colonia this Saturday morning (06:00 UTC) - 13th June 3306

The countdown begins! No Shipyard or Outfitting (sorry) so can only accommodate one ship per Commander

No Tritium donations required, storage already full. However the Carrier will remain at Colonia for a few days on arrival where Commanders can donate Tritium through mining or purchase (it might still be super-cheap by then) on arrival. This would be very welcome and I'll make sure to park the carrier in an appropriate spot so this is easy to do.

The total trip will take two days, with each day's travel being about 9 hours and we'll set off as early as possible each day, hopefully around 06:30 UTC. On Saturday evening we will be making a pit stop at Skaudai AM-B D14-138 which is about half way, and where there are some Guardian ruins for you to explore. Our arrival at Skaudai AM-B D14-138 is scheduled for approximately 15:30 UTC, giving you the whole evening to explore the ruins. We will set off again early on Sunday morning, so please remember where we parked.

This will actually suit me, thank you!

I have an alt account where I wanted him to start life in Colonia with just a Cobra Mk III and 5 million credits. He actually has 6.5 million credits so will use up the excess 1.5 million on buying Tritium for your Carrier Odyssey (nice name!) in Colonia.

That's a great idea. It hadn't occurred to me it's a great opportunity to do something interesting with Alt Cmdr accounts 😀

Fantastic idea!

This account has just loaded Corvette "Veil of Tears" onto Odyssey for the trip (I renamed her for the event!) and will be pleased to deliver a full load of Tritrium to Odyssey on arrival in Colonia (around 400t) to help with the fuel used getting me there (y)

Great news! 😀

I'm wondering what people's preference would be for an evening stop-off point (assuming I make good enough time). I could stop at a base on the Colonia Connection Highway, or Skaudai AM-B D14-138 is halfway on the trip and has some Guardian ruins 😊

I'll be heading off as soon after 6am UTC as I wake up. Expected ETA at the half-way point is about 4pm UTC, giving you all the evening to explore 😁

Will stop at a waystation base Saturday evening for any Commanders wishing a secure drop-off in deep space.

I'm very interested in hitching a ride to Colonia someday, but only if someone else is heading back to the Bubble a week or two later. Since I'll likely never be able to afford my own carrier, ED has now become "Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy" for me.

So who's looking forward to exploring some remote Guardian ruins tomorrow night? 😁 I see through here, Facebook, and Discord that we have a few Commanders already on board. It's really weird as I always play in Solo, but now I'm not only co-operating with other players, but you're all actually counting on me to get things done for you. That's cool 🤩

Amazing isn't it?
If you have outfitting on your FC and sell SRV's I could enjoy finding a spot to land my 'vette and charging around some Guardian ruins :)
