Carrier Heading to Colonia Saturday Morning (UTC)

It was a quick hit-n-run. You went red, so I must have landed my shots.
Lol. I guess it didn't register because I didn't have you as target resolved. shrugs
Lucky you, I had an emissive multicannon 😜

@Travers it was fun. Have a nice trip out there, gonna watch your journey on the galmap.

Hmm… no, I was there and saw at least you from a distance on the other side of the carrier.

Thanks for the video though because it seems I was too far away for the show, approx 6 km, wanted a good overview to take some photos...
Yeah… well… I heard the sounds but didn't see the jumpgate. 🤷‍♂️ Just the carrier moving slowly into the planet... damn… 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Edit: maybe next time when I have my own carrier… oh wait… FD doesn't let us see this right now… 🤦‍♂️

Maybe a regular return journey out to colonia and back would be a good idea?
I guess that will be established by some players by the time. I'm hitchhiking with an Alt commander on another carrier right now. Should have left Diso 2 Minutes ago and is scheduled to return by next weekend or Monday.

It needs some time and a some more threads to gather people together and to find a form of fees for a "regular" bus service.

If I had a fleet carrier, I'd be very tempted to run a scheduled ferry. The fees would be "We don't leave until my Tritium supplies are topped off (by you passengers)." This would meaningful than most NPC missions.

Great initiative. I hope there will more ferry services in the future. I always wanted to travel to Colonia, but doing all these jumps along already discovered paths kinda puts me off a little.

If you know any FC owners that might be doing that please let them know about http://edfc.space a FC registry and flightplan list, where FC owners can post their trips for others to join. I've just created it recently so it probably needs some improvements, but so far not many people know about it.

Before you all leave - can some one please explain the concept of an 'Alt commander' ?

Is it an entirely different account, or just a another ship or ... ?

Hey, don't worry, we're coming back. Well at least I do... ;)

An Alt commander is really a different account with a different email address, etc. so you can do what ever you want because E: D does only allow one save / commander.
I got my first one when my 1st Acc was in Colonia back then when it all started. I've flown out there with a 25 ly mining Python during a CG and it was a blast. Carrying 120 tons of cargo for the CG and 8(!) limpets, because a follow up mining CG to further repair Jaques station was expected and you couldn't buy mining gear over there…
Took me "only" about two weeks to get there… And to sniff some bubble air I bought a 2nd Acc back then when it was on discount.

Hope this helps ?

Well finally made it to Colonia itself - it's nice here, the stations/systems have good views and some background and history to them, is there even an actual The Traveller’s Guide to Colonia, may as well post here :)

I understand yes tnx - most games allow you to make a "clean" save before experimenting, ED doesn't have that option, a bit strange when you think about it.

Maybe a MP thing ? Presumably they want fines, bounties etc. to stick to a player idk.
