Casual fear

I do German ww2 reenactment so have played with one original r 71 (bugg3r to start) and I do a recon unit with push bikes and the odd combo which I think are urals or a zundap. That's is one thing about 30's bikes people were normal sized not these 6ft giants we have now. Squaddie      take coming up, can't you get new legs to make you 6ft?

I've got shiny, go faster adjustable ones. The miscreant scab lifters at the military hospital only managed to misplace my original non shiny legs from just above the ankle...but I get vertigo and start faceplanting furniture if I set them up too high. I guess I was just designed to be a shortarse :(

They also kept giving me ones with the wrong sized feet, I was raging because none of my boots would fit. Seemingly it's something to do with balance... giving you clowns feet. I insisted... so although I keep falling over randomly, I can do so with boots that fit :D

The last time I got slightly drunk... I got arrested...along with the other drunk veteran who I was sword fighting with our shiny legs...making lightsabre noises and shouting the script from Star Wars...

Not my finest moment (According to our wives, who arrived at local rozzer shop red faced to free us from the dungeons) [where is it]

As you are aware I do shift work so regular time playing ED is hit and miss at times more so if the wife wants me to interact with other humans or her self (selfish I know) so with the new mods coming I assume FD will make it a grind to get the bits to mod ships as to stop guys rocking modded cutters or vultures in 5 min. Im happy with that but I foresee the young types with no jobs just hammering it to mod a ship in a few days and some poor noob like me who would just about modded a shield booster in a 3 week period ending up like the ships in this vid by bored griefer squads trolling CG's. Fear the change people ;)

I will admit I really dislike the definitions a lot seem to set for casual/hardcore, a lot do it purely on time played, which really doesn't reflect much, someone can be casually playing a game, and not understanding what goes on just clicking and watching pretty lights, while someone else can be playing relatively few hours daily, but is reading up about how mechanics work, how things actually fit together, sure they might be able to play the game less, but they might actually understand the game significantly better then others.

So yeah, casual/hardcore in my books isn't time spent playing, but more how much you invest yourself in figuring out the game.
Someone that on the top of their head can remember many things about the game and the ways to play it, would be hardcore in my book
The guy who reads the latest 'meta' on a website/reddit and then goes and gets that kind of ship and uses it against people would be a casual.

Hey that's a pretty sweet bike, I can just see myself sitting in the side thing with many cold beverages heading someplace far away to skin up and buy more beverages.
It just looks like a most excellent machine.
Also motion sickness would never be an issue in that as you can release in almost every direction though the front might be a little messy when you go fast
