I'm right-handed.
And I start stirring clockwise, but I change the direction from time to time, especially if I'm mixing things together (soup, milk in the tea) as I feel the resulting turbulence helps with mixing things more thoroughly.

Right handed and counterclockwise which is the correct way because of the slight angle that the spoon is held. That is with coffee. Hot chocolate is a different beast when it has marshmallows in it which requires some stirring as well as a plunging motion to make sure the marshmallows are properly dunked.

I responded left and anti-clock, but I beg to point out that I tend to switch the direction if there's something I really need to mix (like cocoa powder) into the fluid.

And, yes, I want to see the results of this as well! As well as a summary of the argument that made this poll necessary! :)
