CCCXLVI Winter Olympic Games, hosted by Elite Racers

Quick question, particularly for the more experienced SRV racers. Is there a quick way of repairing the SRV during a race? I am a little hard on the thing and will need to repair during racing.
Good question. Are on the fly synth repairs allowed or are we going with ship recall "pit stops" or even no repairs allowed at all?

And to answer Sulu's question - if synth repairs are allowed then, before you start, pre-select the hull repair synthesis in your right hand Inventory panel. Then, when you need a repair, open the right hand panel again and you should find repair still selected and ready to to be triggered. With practice and a bit of muscle memory you can trigger a repair mid-air with a very quick set of button presses.

Ok cool, I did not know it kept the selection. Thanks Alec.
As for in game repairs, well at this moment I would never get 3 laps without it.
The longer race would be fine however.

Are on the fly synth repairs allowed or are we going with ship recall "pit stops" or even no repairs allowed at all?
This is something I hadn't entirely decided yet. Ship recall "pit stops" are fun but wouldn't be possible on the SRV Cross course, and garage repairs are unpredictable which bay you are at when you redeploy. So if I allow anything it would most likely be synth repairs.

(Apparently I'm terrible at remembering to post the results afterwards. Also we forgot to take podium photos, lol)

Due to the (greatly exaggerated, IMHO) concerns of local administrators regarding SLFs in the airspace above Carrasco Metallurgic Facility, the Interstellar Olympic Committee has decided to replace this event with a mixed-class team relay. Details in edited post above.
