Centrifugal force in the cockpit

Hi everyone! I could be wrong but if you, let's say, pitch up, should't your ship go up first followed by you view? Right now if you pitch up your view goes up first followed by the ship (same for any direction) shouldn't it be vice versa?

EDIT:
A simpler explanation of the problem:
In real life - when you pitch UP your view is pushed DOWN
In Elite - when you pitch UP your view is also pitched UP (but it should be pushed DOWN)

By the way it works correct for ROLL movements but is incorrect for YAW and PITCH.

Any thoughts?

No, because you are farther away from the center of mass of your ship. This means that any change of direction will appear to be proportionnaly larger the farther you are from the center of mass (a bit of trigonometry will show you). Your field of vision will change "faster" than it takes for the ship to stabilizes itself into it's new trajectory.

Maybe i'm not so good in trigonometry, but what the center of mass has to do with it? When you pull up, your ships nose will pull up faster than your head pushing you down.

For example check the moment at 5:28 of this video:

You can see, that the camera is pushed DOWN when the plane goes UP

Oh this is what you mean. In this case I retract my earlier answer. However what you speak of is already present in the game. Perhaps your settings prevent this? After trying in my ASP I have the same effects that you describe.

Hmmm...maybe i'm not explaining it right. I know that this effect is present in the game but i think that it's not correct, let me try explaining in other words:

In real life: when you pitch UP your view is pushed DOWN
In Elite: when you pitch UP your view is also pitched UP (but it should be pushed DOWN)

By the way it looks like it's working correctly for ROLL movements but is incorrect for YAW and PITCH.

So is it intended or it's something they've mixed up by mistake? :D

If you look closely, you'll see that when you pitch up, your perspective shifts as if you are being pushed down in the seat, but at the same time look up. Vice versa, when you pitch down, you get pulled out of the seat, but look down.

Yeah you actually should turn your head with the turn, not look down at your instruments. During heavy G-forces you'll experience that your head is being pushed down, but you can correct your head and look into the turn. This has never been a problem for me in Elite, but I can see your point. Maybe a sharp movement in your ship could make your head bounce a little in the opposite direction, but quickly correct itself looking into the turn again. A minor feature, but adds a sense of force in the game.
