CG just slow to update, or not actually counting any of my contributions?

So I've been doing runs to Omega from a nearby system where I've been mining and refining indite, gallite, and praesodymium to drop off back at Omega for the CG, but my CG progress is still showing as zero contribution.

Something up with that? Or is it just slow to update?

Been a while since I've done a CG, but updating stats for it seem to be instance related. Logging out and logging in again seemed to sort it for me before, for example. Maybe just waiting works too. Not sure if it's tied in to the new mission servers stuff too now or not either.

It's definitely updating and i can already say that this CG will end tomorrow evening. Only 450 contributors and we are already at Tier 2.

Fdev, time to boost the thresholds, otherwise theres not much to mention to coming generations about this community goal..

Well, saves me from shipping my Python out then, or making well enough with what is available nearby. Personally, I'm OK without having the need for participation brownie points, in the knowledge that the task was well done by others more competent and invested in the mission than I, a humble space vagabond.

To be fair, it is curious that the CG started before the scheduled date of the fleets arrival, but maybe that's just the way the weekly changes to the BGS work. My ignorance on the definitive specifics clears my wake. ;)

Yeah, it's past T4 now, so I expect it to finish soon. It was announced well in advance when the CG would begin, though. So anyone participating in DW2 had a good 4 days to get here before it began.

With the number of expected players though, this should have been anticipated and goals set pretty high.

I was seeing the CG updating instantly - where did you check - mission board or transaction tab? Transaction tab tends to lag more than mission board IMHO.

This one is listed as having a decal, according to the link Frontier tweeted out earlier. Megaship, Station and Decal.

As for slow updating, it's always been hit or miss. Sometimes it updates quickly, sometimes it takes 1. Depends on where you are on the update cycle. Been awhile since I did rares trading and they restocked in the station every cycle, so I can't name an exact time frame. ;)

PS - This also happens with faction and rank updating. It's all on the same cycle.

In the first few minutes at the station, both, but it was on the transaction tab (after I'd been back out a system away mining for ten minutes) that it finally gave me an update. I was checking back in on it while my limpets picked everything up from each rock.

Damn, I just started yesterday in a belt not far from Omega. For some reasons I can't mine in rings (comp restarts pretty soon) but in belts I can. Will check the progress when I get home and if needed I'll just deliver what little I have.

Yeah, the CG stats in the left panel only update about once every 10 minutes. Logging out to main menu and back will usually update it right away.

The CG looks like it's been massively extended. Tier-9 was about the size of the other 8 put together, and while 9 is about half-way completed, they added 10 and 11. Since 10 looks tiny in the new graph, Tier 11 must be enormous. I suspect they sized that to last through Thursday as originally planned.

Seems there are quite a few like you - I only see ~2000 CMDRs in the traffic reports for WP2 in the last day, and around 2000 taking part in the CG, I guess the rest are on their way / having an explore :)
