we've had a Galnet on all 3 supes this week, although I'm not sure what type of CG could be a part of any of those stories

Maybe, but assuming the CG hits tier 1 at least they will have a chance to get the, previously only through a CG, shiny thing whenever they want, so everyone benefits even if they don't participate in the CG ...
