CG predictions...

There's got to be an easier way to fake your death than blowing up a megaship, but I haven't found one yet either.

Could exploding the Sacrosanct serve any other purpose than "lol terrorism" or covering their tracks for the Theta Group?

It could be Theta Seven wanting to go out in a blaze of glory by martyring himself. He didn't really have any other choice, since the ship was sabotaged, under blockade, and will eventually be boarded. He was a cornered rat who decided to die doing what he does best: blowing up noncombatants

Very broken. New model? it's been a while since I've visited any attacked m/s

Edit: Certainly is different to most previous attacked m/s as they tend to still be scannable with cargo for looting etc, and this has none of that.

When did you took that picture? I saw the GalNet article, but when I went to Sacrosanct it was still alive

You might need to relog if you were already in-game for a while. Relog is always the answer when stuff changes.
Oh, I see, thanks! It was so strange to see that article and to scan megaship uplink to see the old message about Theta group. I thout it was FDev's mistake and they publish news too early...

And btw, now I've learned how to hide pics under the spoilers :D

Usually changes like that occur at around 8:00 AM UTC with Galnet publishing a few hours later. This was certainly a case of the article getting uploaded too early.

I was online when the Galnet article came out and went off to Mudhrid to find the Sacrosanct intact. It's what people are saying above; the Galnet article wasn't supposed to be published that early.
Either someone at FDev accidentally hit the button too early, or they wanted to get some stuff done in the middle of the night where players are less likely to notice so they can work on other stuff at the start of the workday Monday morning.

Another Gnosis?
I doubt T7 would have got away through the blockade if he was aboard once it formed.
If he did get away I suspect he left during the battle with NMLA at the latest.
Has anyone seen the other cultist ships today?

Theta Seven killed - GalNet
"The future will remember us."

The Death of Theta Seven

The NMLA’s de facto leader and his closest followers have sacrificed themselves by destroying the Far God cult’s megaship Sacrosanct.
If it was true I'm rather disappointed. Quite a dull end.
A faked death of the NMLA's main figures with a big number of casualties would go exactly with the story and how the NMLA was painted however. I rather don't believe this news.
“We can confirm that the most wanted terrorist in the galaxy is dead.
I want proof of that, not a video broadcast.

I dont think he's dead. Surely he would have just got in the escape pod and found himself at the last station he docked at.:sneaky:

Then all he would need to do is change his name to something less terrorist-y. Actually there is a new janitor that started work at the local Kumo Burger joint. Goes by the name of Theta 8. Lovely chap, very good with a mop.

Maybe someone hit the switch too early again?
No, this happens when the Fdev story team goes on vacation. They write the reports in advance and they get posted in the game much earlier than usual.

We're in the middle of December, so Fdev is likely down to a skeleton crew for the holidays.
