Change Icon in Nav Menu for "Unexplored"/List Attributes of Unexplored "Landable Planets"
DISTINCTIVE ICON FOR UNEXPLORED POINTS OF INTEREST (POI)
1. Simple suggestion, and more prevalent to exploring systems located within inhabited space. Currently, the "Unexplored" icon in the Navigation Menu is the same icon used for Points of Interest. While in uninhabited space, but for the random or arbitrary POI that pings from time to time, it is easy to identify, locate and target for navigation or scanning purposes "Unexplored" planets, stars, etc. However, in systems within inhabited space, sometimes you have to check a few times, depending upon how many POI's there may be from time to time (by example, high count RES or systems with factions engaged in war) to ensure that you have already scanned all unexplored planets. It can get confusing to the eyes when there are a lot of POIs within the system. I thought the simple fix of changing the "Unexplored" icon in the Navigation Panel to something more distinctive could help alleviate that confusion.
LIST ATTRIBUTES OF SCANNED UNEXPLORED NON-ATMOSPHERIC PLANETS
Since the release of 2.0, Horizons, once an unexplored non-atmospheric planet is scanned, the planet attributes are not reflected in the scanning GUI on the bottom left of the ship's GUI. I acknowledge that by deduction, scanned unexplored planets will very likely possess either an icy or metal composition. Notwithstanding, once atmospheric planets are introduced into the game as planets a player can enter the atmosphere and ultimately land upon, this will further limit that GUI information panel. I also, as I assume other explorers as well share the same sentiment, enjoy reviewing the fruit of the scan in that informational panel on the bottom left of the ship post scan of the planet. I understand that this panel is reserved for information, and when it comes to points of interest, particularly, outposts or stations, that panel includes the data for those locations. However, I would like Frontier to consider to reinstitute the data that an explorer receives about the planet once scanned; i.e. metal planet, icy planet, so we can review the attributes of the planet post scan as we can when we scan atmospheric planets in the 2.0 release.
That's all, small, simple, yet wordy.
