Changes to make for improved FPS?

Simple enough. My park is growing in challenge mode and the lag makes the game less pleasant. Any critical settings I can change or changes to my park to get better frames? Thanks.

Either use less scenery or limit the number of guests in your park. That's really all you can do

Especially the scenery kills your fps and of course, as more guests, as more power the park will need.
But as far as I know, the scenery needs more power than guests (if you've got a lot of it).
