I think that's actually okay for the intended purpose - NPC barks are background noise, if they made actually witty and clever quips all the time it'd get distracting and exhausting. Not speaking like a real person might be fine too if it can be treated like movie dialogue. It's impressive that an LLM can come up with such, but let's be frank, the actual quality of these is mediocre at best. If a human writer wrote these, I'd tell them to write dialogue that real people would actually say, not forced stuff like "It won't last long against my firepower!", "Time to end this charade and prove my superiority!"
ENEMY! DIE!
haha and folks are scared of AI taking over, dont make me laugh this is cringe-worthy.Perhaps Frontier could come up with some new NPC taunts like ChatGPT can to add or replace the stale taunts weve had for 10 years already!

Would be great but voice generation is still new, I don't think any game has it. Can you see ED being the first?Yes - I always text someone before I punch them in the face.
TTS has improved so much from the game's release - it is time to drop the text threats and replace them with voice.
Don't like the voice, mute it.
Just recently saw this, and it is amazing that this discussion should suddenly pop up today.Would be great but voice generation is still new, I don't think any game has it. Can you see ED being the first?
